Salmanazar V was king of Assyrie of 727 with 722 front J. - C.
Salmanazar V made imprison the King of Israel Osée which did not pay any more the tribute and tried to obtain the support of the Egypt to find independence. In 722, after three years of fight, Salmanazar V annexed the kingdom of Israel and made an Assyrian province of it. According to the tradition, 27.290 people were off-set in several towns of Assyrie. On this occasion, good number of Babylonian colonists and araméens were established in Israel.
