Biography

Salman Khan (or Sallu for its nickname) is the son of the scenario writer Salim Khan. These two brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, are also actors. Regarded as the bad lot of Bollywood, it is often scratched by the press and knows several contentions with justice. It is arrested but is not imprisoned in October 1998 to have driven out an antelope black, protected space, as in 2002 during 3 days for homicide following an car accident where it risked 5 years of prison (driving under influence of intoxication with a nonvalid license).

Single person, Salman Khan attended Aishwarya Rai during two years. This one refuses since to make a film with him.

For some time it leaves with the actress and Top Model Katrina Kaif and an ONG in the name of " inaugurated; Salman Khan Foundation" .

Career

But it is only in 1998 with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai that he is recognized truly as actor of Bollywood with a reward with the Filmfare Awards. It obtains then big roles in films with large success: Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Jaanam Samjha Karo in 1999, Har Dil OJ Pyar Karega… in 2000, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke in 2001 and more recently No Entry and " Kyunki" like " Saawan " in 2005, " Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar" , " jaan-e-man" and " Baabul" in 2006 and " Salam-e-Ishq" in 2007. without forgetting several films for the next months " London Dreams" , " God Tussi Great Ho", " Marigold" , " Bajirao Mastani" , " Sahib Biwi Aur Gulam" , " My Punjabi Nikaah" , " Partner" and " Saanwariya" .
