Sallymage

Sallymage is a group Punk founded rock'n'roll own-produced with Sens in 1994.

It is composed of two guitarists, a bass player and a singer. Without true knowledge of the music, they launch out quickly in the composition and the recording in professional studio. The rather dynamic local scene very sees the birth of the underground label 442ème street (among the founding members: a postal worker and punk without fixed residence). It is the Sallymage group which they choose to be the n°1 of their catalog and one has a presentiment of to them 45 turns vinyl color with 500 specimens.

A few months later the group enters again in studio in Montreuil for a first mini album of 5 titles Infecté now untraceable. If the compositions are well signed Sallymage, it is probable that the texts (in French) have another paternity so much they differ from the pieces to come… Indeed if emblematic the Universel is a warning statement against the rise of the National front, Sectaire fustigates the Church of Scientologie; the texts of the second album Pure death in English remain incisive and are proclaimed Punk the Eighties ( Still life ) with an ecological dimension ( Acid rain ). It should be noted that between certain pieces are slipped of the Bronzed extracts of the film ski .

After seven years of existence the group separates, leaving many semi-official catches studio, sometimes of better quality that the produced titles. Today it is in Kiproquo that one finds two ex-members of Sallymage of which the beater which in parallel starts a career in the USA with the Octoons group.
