The Rivière Salinas is a river taking its source close to the town of San Miguel, and throwing in the Pacific Ocean by the means of the Monterey Bay, in the chain Santa Lucia Range. It gave its name to a city, Salinas, and a desert, the Sierra of Salinas. It crosses the Comté of Monterey, and San Luis Obispo.
