Salim Kechiouche

Salim Kechiouche , born the April 2nd 1979 in the suburbs of Lyon, is a Acteur French. He is discovered by the actor/realizer Gaël Morel in 1995 in the film At any speed whereas he is only 15 years old. Its collaboration with Morel will continue during the years in the majority of films of this realizer. At the time of his first films, still teenager, to make cinema is for him more or less a play. These is especially the experiments with Morel which will wake up its passion and will decide it to make a career of it. At this point in time it will make the school of theater which it will finish in 2002.

To the cinema, it also turned with realizers now confirmed like François Ozon in the criminal Lovers like in first films of new realizers. In 2005, it plays the part of Karim in Gigolo of Bastian Schweitzer at the sides of Amanda Lear which incarnates a star déchue spending his nights in the arms of Salim Kechiouche, playing a gigolo to him which seeks to take again its life in hand, taken in gears of self-destruction in the artificial world of the Parisian jet set. This film was selected in official competition of the International festival of film of Berlin or Berlinale of 2005 for the Gold Bear of best short-measuring.

Amateur of boxing, he becomes champion of France of Kick boxing in 1998 and vice-champion of Boxe inhabitant of Thailand in 1999 and 2002. Its talents of boxer were used besides for his characters in some of its films, in particular in the criminal Lovers , Archives of night , the Clan , Our meeting again as in the experiment Cinematon where he plays his own part.

He lives with Paris where he devotes himself to his trade of actor by alternating cinema, theater and televised series. He illustrates himself there, partly, under the direction of young realizers and directors. He played some homosexual or bisexual characters since the beginning of his career. With the cinema, one thus noticed it in his character of Mécir in University and that of Hicham in the film the Clan . With the theater, one retains his interpretation of Pino Pelosi, the assassin of the Italian scenario writer Pier Paolo Pasolini, which he played in 2003 in Paris in the part Vie and Mort of Pier Paolo Pasolini of Michel Azama.
