Saldae
The Romans came at the beginning of our era. Immediately in the south of the beach where the counter phenician was, on a rock headland, they dévellopérent a city which was called Saldae ; current the Béjaïa. That its inhabitant calls especially Bgayet or V' gayet in Kabyle. This city is old évêché.
