The salami (plural of " salame ", Italian word) is a type of Saucisson originating in Italy. Its name comes from the Italian salare which means to salt .
It first of all was manufactured starting from pieces of Porc and salt dried with the air in a skin. It is nowadays presented multiple ways and is manufactured in several countries. Almost all the types of salami are seasoned with a mixture of spice S and sweet herbs in addition to salt. He is sometimes also smoked or cooks before being dried. Certain varieties are made with Bœuf, whereas others use a mixture of ox and pig. Almost all the Italian salamis contain garlic, and German that very seldom.
