Salò
Salò is a commune of the north of the Italy close to the Lake Garda in the Province of Brescia in Lombardy.
The city was creates under the Roman Empire under the name of Pagus Salodium and was with the Moyen-âge a possession of the royal family Visconti of Milan. After 1440 the city is under the control of the République of Venice.
Of 1943 with 1945 Salò was the capital of the Italian Social republic directed by Benito Mussolini, so known under the name of République of Salò , Puppet government of the Nazi S.
