Sakre

Sakre is the Basque word indicating swearword , imprecation . The Malédiction can take place by means of Formule S Imprécatoire S, of Geste S, Symbole S.

There are places where the word arraio , addressed to a person, has a direction of curse. With Licq (Drunk/Xiberoa/Zuberoa), one says against the Esprit S Malin S:

" apartadi, Satan, milla leku hurrun "

" move away, Satan, with thousand miles from here "

At the same time the " is made; figue". The fig is gesture translating a curse. It is launched, against people who go " to see with the diable" , even against the devil him even. In certain villages whose Licq, one says that the fig is a Croix and therefore it is effective against the bad spirits.

Etymology

Sakre means " imprécation " out of Basque. the suffix has indicates the article: sakre' a' thus results in " the imprécation".

Note

There does not exist kind ( male , female ) in the Basque language and all the letters decide. There is thus no association as for French or WHICH decides KI .
