Saizerais is a common French, located in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle and the area Lorraine.

Geography

The commune of Saizerais is located in the department of Meurthe and the Moselle (54) in the area Lorraine (France).
Saizerais is to 19 km in the western north of Nancy and to 15 km in the south of Bridge with Mousson.
Saizerais belongs to the Communauté of Communes of the Basin of Pompey. The village is in edge of the Lorraine plate with 250 Mr. of altitude, 8 km of the confluence of the Moselle and of Meurthe and mark the western southern entry of the Regional natural park of Lorraine.

Personalities related to the commune

Adrien All Saints' day: born on July 21st, 1895, died in 1951. Racing cyclist (Tour de France (cycling) in 1924,1925,1926 and 1927). Resisting during the second world war, deportee with Neuengamme and released in June 1945.
