The park Sainte-Marie is a Nancy Public garden located in the district Blandan. Located in the middle of the district of the School of Nancy, it is the second park of the city in term of Superficie, after the Parc of the Seedbed.

History

It is in 1620 that the Jésuite S are established to with it and name it Sainte Marie. In 1808, it becomes a private pleasure garden. It is at that time that it was landscape and planted remarkable Arbres (whining Séquoia, Tulipier, Cèdre, Chêne S).

In 1904, the city becomes about it owner and arranges it in public garden.

From May in November 1909, the Sainte-Marie park - and more generally the Blandan district - accueillèrent the International exhibition of the East of France. One of the houses (the Alsatian house ) is still present today. It shelters exposures relating to fauna and the flora.
