Geography
History

1822 : Blancmesnil is attached to Holy-Marguerite .
- August 19th 1942: the men of the 4th British Commando of Lord Lovat unload on the Yellow Beach and take the Hess Battery and its garrison. It will be the only success of the Opération Jubilee.
- 1981: Holy-Marguerite takes the name of Sainte-Marguerite-sur-Mer.
