The defense forces of Saint-Christophe-and-Niévès in the the Caribbean form one of the military units smallest in this geographical unit.

They are composed, in 2007, of a company of light Infanterie, of a patrol craft and of four light boats, that is to say a total of a hundred of men for the terrestrial forces, 40 Garde-côte S and approximately 300 reservists.

This defense force, deactivation between 1981 and 1997 is structured according to the model of the army of the Indies British and equipped with American material .
