Saint-Vincent is a common French, located in the department of the Puy-de-Dôme and the area Auvergne.
Geography
Saint-Vincent is located at ten kilometers of Issoire on the MINOR ROAD 629, a little with the variation of the CD26. The village is composed of the borough, Saint Vincent (460 m of altitude) built in the content of valley and Lavelle (580 meters of altitude), a Hameau located at approximately 3 kilometers, dominating the Vallée since the sides of the Puy de Lavelle. The village is located at an altitude of 460 meters and Lavelle with 580 meters. The borough is sprinkled by the Couze de Pavin (locally called " Couze Pavin"), small a River which will be thrown in the Allier with Issoire.
History
In 1304 Pierre of Montaigut-the-White marries Isabeau, sister of Robert II Dolphin and receives the ground of Saint-Vincent. The church of the 13th century is dedicated of course to Vincent saint. It was altered at the 15th century and was restored with 19th.
