Saint-Vincent-on-Oust is a common French, located in the department of the Morbihan and the area Brittany.

Its inhabitants is called Vincentais.

Geography

The commune is located at 6 kilometers of Redon (Ille-et-Vilaine).

Saint Vincent belongs to the great natural site of the oust, with the locality the island-with-magpies.

One finds there also an arts center Breton, the center Per Roy of association Kendalc' h.

History

Saint-Vincent-on-Oust is attached to the Canton of Allaire and the Arrondissement of Valves.

The commune is member of the Communauté of communes of the Country of Redon, with horse on the departments of Ille-et-Vilaine and of the Morbihan, in area Brittany, and that of the Loire-Atlantique, in area Pays of the Loire.

The current mayor (since 1989) is Yvette Année, various right, also general adviser of the Canton of Allaire.

The preceding mayor was Léandre Hervieux, various right-hand side.
