History
The Phaunus Mount was high places of the worship druidic until Saint-Vigor the évangélise.Vigor of Bayeux was bishop of Bayeux from 513 to 537, there gave its name to the commune and was perhaps its tomb. Eudes, brother of William the Conqueror founded a monastery Benedictine there.
