Saint-Tudwal islands
The Îles Saint-Tudwal are three islands in the north of Wales, in the south of Abersoch in the peninsula of Llŷn, at the end of bay of Tremadog.
These three islands are:
- Sant Tudwal of the west, which carries a headlight;
- Sant Tudwal of the east, which contains the ruins of a former priory;
- Carreg there Trai which is in fact only one rock.
The name would come from the name of the Breton saint Tudwal which would have been hermit on one of the islands.
