According to the census of Statistical Canada, it there had 1856 inhabitants in 2001, compared to 1890 in 1996, that is to say a fall of 1,8%. The parish counts 708 private residences, has a surface of 104,41 km ² and a Population density of 17,2 inhabitants to the km ².
