Saint-Senoux

Saint-Senoux is a common French, located in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine and the area Brittany.

Geography

Located at approximately 30 km in the Western South-South of Rennes, the commune of Saint-Senoux is contiguous has Guichen, place chief of canton, Borough-of-Accounts, Guignen, Pléchatel, and Saint-Malo-with-Phily. In full heart of the valley of the Unpleasant which separates it from Borough-of-Accounts, the small commune is also crossed by a river, the Canut, natural limit with the commune of Guichen. The Canut reaches his confluence with the Vilaine on the grounds of the communes, just with the foot of the castle of the Bochet located, him on other bank. Mainly timbered, the commune is very wide. Some of its hamlets, as for example Trottinais are located at more 5km borough. The field of Molière, perched with side of the valley of the Vilaine dominates a whole forest bearing the same name.

History

It is known as that to the IV or at the 5th century, an Irish monk, name of Senou is installed in these grounds, charmed by the area. At the dawn of the 21e century, the commune is primarily agricultural, and no industrial company is installed there.
