The Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball is a professional club French of Basket-ball evolving/moving since the season 2002 - 2003 in Pro B. The club is based with Saint-Quentin (Aisne).
History
Saint-Quentin Basket Ball was born from the fusion of Friendly Jumentier and the Sporting union of the Railwaymen. It disputes the championship of Exellence then regional. In 1982, new fusion enters the SQBB and the Laic Hearth of Harly.In 1988, the SQBB reaches in 1A (current the Pro has). The club competes then with the best teams of the league and finishes fifth. In 1990, qualification for the Coupe Korac that they disputed in 1991 with a victory in residence vis-a-vis the Greeks of the Panathinaïkós Athens, but were inclined outside.
In 1993, following financial problems, Saint-Quentin is relegated in Main road 4 and will briefly find the Pro B in 2000 (redescente the following year) to return there definitively in 2002.
Since, the team takes part regularly in the Playoffs, losing in semi-final in 2006 (vis-a-vis Orleans) and in 2007 (vis-a-vis Quimper).
the SQBB is famous to be constant by one of the best public of the French basketball.
