The departmental forest of Avaugour Wood-Meur

During the year 2005, the General advice of Coast-in Armor acquired the forest of Avaugour and wood Meur, a whole of more than: 1000 hectares being spread out over the communes of Saint-Péver, Saint-Hackney carriage, Boqueho and Lanrodec. The objectives of the General advice are " to offer to the general public an exemplary forest, as well as regards forestry management as of protection of the environnement". The departmental forest of Avaugour Wood-Meur is opened with the public which can discover its fauna and its typical flora of the country of Argoat on seven ways marked out (of 1,5 km to 12,5 km) for the Hiking, VTT or the horse. For that, it is preferable to go to the point reception-information located between the two solid masses where the walker will be able to get a chart of the solid mass published by the General advice and to find the starting point of all the marked out paths.
