Saint-Pierre-of-Échaubrognes the east born of the fusion of two parishes, Saint-Hilaire-of-Échaubrognes, located in Anjou and Saint-Pierre-of-Échaubrognes which belonged to the common steps of the Anjou and of the Poitou.
With the Middle Ages, the two villages belonged to the Mauges.

Parish church Saint-Pierre-of-Échaubrognes: inheritance of the Anjou. To see: chalice and patene. The chalice is the work of Rene Ier Hardye, main goldsmith with Angers of 1616 to 1645, while the patene was produced by Laurent Hayeneufve, him also goldsmith angevin, and carries the punch of jurande of the years 1644-1645.
