Saint-Paul-with Oueil is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Garonne and the area the Midday-Pyrenees.
Its inhabitants is called the Saint-Paulin cheeses. The origin of the name of the village comes from Saint Paul, owner of the Paroisse.
Commune located in the the Pyrenees in Comminges at 52 km at the South-west of Saint-Gaudens. Near the village, runs the Neste d' Oueil.
The rights of the Seigneur S of Larboust extend in Oueil only at the beginning from the XIIIe century. Also, towards 1290, the large local lords such Jourdan and Marie de Gouaux left their Dîme S in the chapter Diocésain. Others, like Bertrand de Jussan, Auger de Barbazan and Pérégrin de Saux, are open. The Saint-Paulin cheeses pass from alliances with the inhabitants of Neste and Vidaussan.
