History
Ségosa, milestone along the littoral Roman way formerly connecting Pampelune to Bordeaux, was located at the site of the locality Saint-Paul-the-Old man on the current commune of Saint-Paul-in-Born.The church of Saint-Paul-the-Old man is transferred to Saint-Paul-in-Born during the 17th century due to repeated floods. The September 28th 1678, an ordinance of the archbishop of Bordeaux ratifies this decision. The cartography of the 18th century always indicates “where was the old church”.
