Sit of the worship protesting the Cathédrale Saint-Patrick ( Árd Eaglais Naomh Pádraig in Gaélique) rises in the southern districts of the old city of Dublin.

Presentation

It is told that it was built at the place even where the source spouted out where Patron saint of the Ireland baptized his first faithful. There however remain nothing the buildings of origin which were established, like those of Church Christ, at the 12th century. The structure was altered many times during the centuries and the current form of the cathedral primarily goes back to 1860.

Most famous of its seniors was the writer Jonathan Swift who is buried there. In the northern Transept are exposed the death mask of the author, his mobile pulpit and various personal objects.
