Saint-Nérée

Saint-Nérée is a Municipalité of parish in the regional Municipalité of county of Bellechasse to the Quebec (Canada), located in the administrative area of the Boiler-Appalachian Mountains. It is named in the honor of the martyrs Nérée and Achille.

Saint-Nérée was founded in 1886, inside two seigniories: that of Launière and Taschereau. The first mission was open in 1881 by the abbot Nérée Gingras de Saint-Gervais. Saint-Nérée counts 10 lakes. Popular family names are Labrecque, Godbout, Fournier, Dutil, Chabot, Breton, etc
