Saint-Martin-on-Nohain is a common French, located in the department of the Nievre and the area Burgundy.
Geography
History
The old parish, whose origin goes up around 1100, was called Saint-Martin-of-Tronsec the. But at the end of the XIXème century, the chief town of the commune was transferred to the hamlet from Nohain, chosen for its more central position. After the town hall and the schools, it was with the turn of the church to be dismounted and rebuilt on its new site. By official decree of November 1st, 1903, the commune took the name of
Saint-Martin-on-Nohain.

- the manor of Small Favray, built under the reign of Henri IV.
- Of the three mills created on Nohain by the monks of the abbey of the St. Lawrence, the mill of Paillot was the last to function (its activity ended in 1996)
