- Church of the 11th century and 12th century.
- Old station with marchioness and lamp-making.
- the commune owes its name with Saint Marien which, born in Bourges, lived as a recluse in the wood of the combraille after having spent 6 years in the monastery of Pressigny.
A church existed already at the end of the 9th century. Raoul de Déolz, Odo his son and Gerard Litort of the Rock-Villebat gave this Church to Sureil about the year 1080. The files of High Vienna have a " Safeguard granted by O of Dolis to the inhabitants of Saint marien, in consideration of the church of the place, towards 1091". The current church dates from the 13th century. It has a nave of three spans, the last one forming the chorus, like two vaults (north and south). The nave was arched warheads with vein of tonic profile of which there remain some vestiges. In the heart a credence double in broken layout, framed of a torus and decorated of a cord with hooks with height of the springing of the arches, imitates a device of gate. The bell-tower, located on the first span of the nave, lodges the bell which goes back to 1506.
The fountain of Arnon, close to the village of Jurigny is located not far from the sources of Arnon flow of Expensive. A pilgrimage was organized there on October 10th (the last would go back to 1892). The new illustrated dictionary of Hollow published into 1892 with the editions of the Tower gives us interesting additional details:
