Saint-Laurent-of-the-Salt marsh is a common French, located in the department of the the Eastern Pyrenees and the area Languedoc-Roussillon.
Its inhabitants is called Laurentins.
Geography
Commune located on the Agly
As its name indicates it, Saint Laurent is located in a zone of Salanque, which is a type of ground correpondant with the pond which borders it and means " ground salée".
History
Historically Saint Laurent of the Salt marsh included/understood the littoral commune of the Barcarès. The scission between the two remainder recent but one tends to forget his maritime roots.
