The Carbonnière tower
Located on the commune of Saint-Laurent-in Aigouze, the Carbonnière Tower is quoted for the first time in a text gone back to 1346 which gives precise details on the function of the work. It is known as there . that this fortress is the key of the kingdom in this region. Indeed, located in the middle of the marshes, it was the required passage to reach Acute-Dead.
