Saint-Laurent-in Agny is a village of almost 2000 inhabitants, located between the communes of Mornant, Soucieu-in-Jarrest, Taluyers.
History
The village of Saint-Laurent-in Agny finds its origin on the Saint-Vincent hill which named " Dagninus". Until the Xe century, this hill was inhabited by the Celtes and the Romains. The St. Lawrence d' Agny was very early a country of vineyards, as the term " shows it; Vincent" saint; given to the Vault Saint-Vincent, Romance vault built with Xe century and parish until the XIIIe century.
