Saint-Granier , of his true name Jean de Granier de Cassagnac (Paris, May 27th 1890 - Neuilly-sur-Seine, June 25th 1976), was a singer, composer-songwriter, scenario writer, realizer, creator of review, man of radio and journalist French.

Biography

Saint-Granier was born with Paris in 1890 in a family from Gascon aristocrats including one great number is journalist and deputy. Parallel to these various activities, it continues to sing and to occur in cabarets like the Cricket , the Mill of the song , the Vault of the Republic , passes of to exclusiveness to the Magpie which sings , it also sings in its own reviews in which Albert Willemetz, RIP or Jacques Charles collaborates, its success is worth a nickname mocker to him the “half-society man” because of his origins and of its crested frequentations, her tempting smile is worth also “Granier monkey to him”.

From 1930 it extends its activities to the cinema and becomes director of Paramount for the France of 1930 to 1932. Then the radio comes where it makes its beginnings in 1930 to become seven years later producing with Radio-City , radio station of the Thirties celebrates, for which it produces with Jacques Canetti the first radio-hook, the minute of the good sense renamed later by the public the minute of Saint-Granier , after the war it continues in the vein of the radio-hooks with One sings in my district (1945) whose code is a song of Francis Blanche, Ploum ploum Tralala .
