Geography

History

The parish of Saint-Glen, wedged in the évêché of Saint-Brieuc belonged to the Doyenné of concerning Coëtmieux évêché of Fraud and was under the term of Saint Etienne.

  • 1793: the Trève of Penguily was attached to him to spiritual the
  • 1847: the trève of Penguily was detached to him with spiritual because set up in parish
  • April 1st, 1973: the commune of Penguily is joined together to him and Saint-Glen takes the name of Saint-Glen-Penguily
  • July 5th, 1984: the commune of Penguily becomes again autonomous and Saint-Glen takes again his old name
