Saint-Girod
Saint-Girod is a common French, located in the department of the Savoy and the area the Rhone-Alps. It belongs to the Pays of the Albanian and the Canton of Albens.
Its inhabitants is called the Saint Girodais .
Geography
The commune is located at the east of the brook Deysse and the pre-alpine hills leading to the Bauges.
History
The name of the commune is attested since the 13th century. The village was a possession of the Seigneurie of Montfalcon.
