Geography

Saint-Germain-on-Vienna is a small commune of the Indre-et-Loire of approximately 330 inhabitants, located between Candes-saint-Martin and Chinon at the south of Turns.

History

In the past Saint-Germain-of-Meadow-of-Candes. The church was founded at the 6th century by Injuriosus, bishop of Tours. The Fief concerned the archbishop's palace of Tours.
