Saint-Georges-in Orques

History
To find the origins of Saint Georges d' Orques it is necessary to seek in our high Mediterranean antiquity, as testify some the Gallo-Roman potteries and bronzes which were discovered there. Of these " orcas" , large and beautiful terra cotta vases, the village would have drawn its name.
