Joseph LORIAUD (1911-1998) was mayor of Ciers Saint of Taillon of 1971 to 1989. This man of nature, animated by the will to serve the community and his fellow-citizens impelled a policy of restoration and transformation of the communal infrastructures (sporting gendarmerie, town hall, post, installations, restoration of the church…). With his wife Marie Louise (1920-2007) teacher with Saint Ciers of 1943 to 1964, they marked of their print of many generations of Taillonnais.
