Saint-Cergue
Saint-Cergue is a common Switzerland Canton of Vaud, located in the District of Nyon.
The districts of small typical country cottages and very beautiful village houses are tempting. But in fact the superb Jurassic landscapes make the pride of Saint-Cerguois. The air is without equal and splendid places are discovered. While passing by the Fruit-bearing ones of Nyon where you will be able, lasting the summer season, to attend manufacture of cheese, Givrine in Marchairuz, with foot or ski touring, passing from combes in combes all beautiful, the solid mass of Dôle for the followers of the Alpine skiing, will be able to also surprise you with its tracks varied, its extension on the French solid mass of Tuffes and of course, its exceptional panorama on the Alps and the basin lemanic. Obviously, the list is not exhaustive and many routes still are possible (Barillette, ruins of Oujon, the Baroness, etc)
This village seems living not only by the tourist vocation which he asserts, but also by the personality of its inhabitants, the will and the quality of its tradesmen and restorers, by the serious one of its craftsmen and to finish by the dynamism of the local companies which regularly animate Saint-Cergue of demonstrations, exposures and spectacles different. A work as well as a historical note are available for those which would wish to know some a little more on the evolution of Saint-Cergue through the centuries.
