Saint-Blaise-on-Richelieu

Saint-Blaise-on-Richelieu is a municipality of the Quebec (Canada), located in the regional Municipalité of county of the Haut-Richelieu, in the administrative area of the Montérégie. It is named in the honor of Blaise of Rosefish.
History
The municipality was formed in 1892 starting from detachments of the parishes of Saint-Jean-the Évangéliste (Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu), Holy-Marguerite-of-Blairfindie (Acadie) and of St. Valentine's day. Located on western bank of Richelieu, this municipality is recognized for its husbandries with large scales.
