Geography

Saint-Benoit-the-Chipotte is a primarily agricultural and forest locality on the first hills of the Massif of the Vosges. It is to 7 km of Rambervillers and to 14 km of Raon-l' Étape by the Col of Chipotte (456 m).

History

Important combat were held from August 26th to September 24th 1914. They were particularly fatal.
