Geography
Placé since thousand years almost exactly with the borders of three areas, north the Berry, the south the the Limousin and the west the Poitou, Saint-Benoit--Sault the east located at less than three hours at the south of Paris .
History
In the beginning some monks Benedictines detached from the Abbaye of Fleury founded with Caput Servium (Sacierges-Saint-Martin) a small colony, which because of proximity of the Roman way and the dubious time (cruel incursions) transferred it to Salis (Saint-Benoit-of-Sault) natural rock which made it possible to best defend as from the tenth century.
The history of the village is also related to the Viscounts of Brush, from where the aspect always Médiéval perched on a rock hillock (Registered Site), houses 15th and 16th and other lanes and places picturesque.
