Its inhabitants is called the Saint-Albanians.

This commune is located on the Hers-Death in the Northern Banlieue of Toulouse

History

Initially called Mathe (or Mathepezoul) then Gafelaze, Saint-Alban takes his final name only in 1675.

This small town was very marked by the culture of the Violette (Plant-emblem of the Toulouse region), just like its neighbors Lalande, Launaguet, Aucamville, Castelginest and Saint-Jory.

May 9th, the committee of Twinning Saint-Alban Salgareda festival the Day of the Europe with the contribution of the schoolboys and of Chor' alban.
