Saint-Élie-with-Caxton is a Canadian Municipalité of the province of Quebec located in the regional Municipalité of county of Maskinongé in the administrative area of the Mauricie.

Toponymy

The name of Saint-Élie refers to Joseph-Élie-Sylvestre Sirois-Duplessis, the first priest to serve the recent parish. The Caxton suffix refers to the cadastral canton proclaimed in 1839 whose name points out a village of England close to Cambridge.
