Sailor Moon (video game)

Sailor Moon (美少女戦士セーラームーン, Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon ) is a Video game Beat them all developed by Angel Studios , left on terminal arcade in 1993, and adapted for the Super Nintendo and the Megadrive. It is the only video game based on the frankness Sailor Moon which left to Occident.

The Megadrive version comprises improved graphics and levels.

Gameplay

The play is founded over the first season Sailor Moon , and proposes to control one or two of five heroins. Each one of it can carry out some sequences of blows and has a special attack making it possible to reach all the enemies in a line.

The play is divided into five great levels:

  • Latin Quarter (Boss: Bakene)
  • Amusement park (boss: Murid)
  • Usine secretes (boss: Zoisite disguised as Sailor Moon)
  • Thousand-year-old of money (boss: Kunzite)
  • Kingdom of the shades (boss: Prince Endymion and Reine Beryl))

Characters

Five heroins are of course:
  • Sailor Moon alias Bunny River; its special attack is its throw of diadem.
  • Sailor Mercury alias Amy Mizuno; its special attack is its jet of bubbles. It is faster than other Senshi but has a shorter attack.
  • Sailor Mars alias Striped Hino; its attack by defect is the kick, which has a greater attack than the punch. Its special attack is a fireball.
  • Sailor Jupiter alias Mako Kino; its special attack is a flash of electricity.
  • Sailor Come alias Minako Aïno; only Sailor Senshi whose attack by defect uses a weapon, it holds up its chain which has a long range.

The enemies are mainly made up of the Youma Dark Kingdom appeared in the animated series, including doubles of color different inherent in this kind from play:

To note

  • For the European version of the play left on Super Nintendo, the play was translated into French.
  • the French translation comprises some errors:
    • If Sailor Senshi loses all its lives and exhausts its chances to continue, the screen known as " SIN" instead of saying " FIN" (equivalent of the range over ).
    • After the end of each great level, the Homme Masked appears to make the verdict of the selected performance of Sailor Senshi. If the score is average, he says " MOYENE" instead of saying " MOYEN".
    • Sailor Venus is famous " Sailor Mathilde".
    • the dialog of the final sequence has many skinned and incomplete sentences…
