In France at least, it was the subject of genealogical studies and histories thorough and the carriers of the name have good lucks be discovered downward same Bernardo ancestor - arrived in Alsace at the 18th century - by one or the other of his/her children or grandchildren having received the Légion of honor like Mathias-Florent and others or a diploma of University like, for example, Camille (1844 - 1904).
