Safed Koh
The Safed Koh (in French " mountain blanche") is an assembly line located at the border between the Pakistan and the Afghanistan. Directed of west in is, it reaches 4 761 meters of altitude to the Mount Sikaram, which dominates all the surrounding heights. The chain of Safed Koh constitutes the southern edge of the average basin of the river Kabul at the time of its crossing of west is important province of Nangarhar.

Those were devastated during the Afghan civil war, which largely reduced the production of wood, one of the traditional resources of the area. Agriculture by irrigation thrives in the valleys.
