Safavieh
Safavieh is the name of an order Soufi founded by Sheykh Aldine Safi of Ardabil (1252 - 1334). This order was built on the foundations of the order Zahediyeh which preceding it, whose Sheykh Safi had inherited its mentor and father-in-law, Sheikh Zahed Gilani.
The Safavieh order, which gradually adopted the Chiisme like way of practicing the Islam, has to increase its military and political capacity at the point to give the day to the dynasty Safavide which reigned on the Iran of 1501 with 1722.
