Sadou Hayatou

Sadou Hayatou (born towards 1942 with Garoua) was the Prime Minister for the republic of the Cameroun of April 26th 1991 at April 9th 1992.

Biography

  • 1942 : birth with Garoua;
  • year 1960: studies in France, graduate of the Institute of the high studies of overseas in Paris;
  • 1969 - 1970: vice-president of the Alliance of the cocoa producer countries;
  • 1970 - 1971: chair Organization interafricaine of coffee (OIAC);
  • 1974 - 1980: director general-assistant, then directing, then general administrator-director of the BICIC, a public bank;
  • August 22nd 1983 - August 24th 1985: Minister for agriculture;
  • August 24th 1985 - December 4th 1987: Minister for the plan and town and country planning;
  • December 4th 1987 - December 7th 1990: Minister for Finance;
  • December 7th 1990 - April 26th 1991: General secretary aupès of the presidency of the republic;
  • April 26th 1991 - April 9th 1992: Prime Minister.

He is currently national director of the BEAC.
