Sadiola

Sadiola is a rural district Malian in the circle and the area of Kayes. It ests ituée to 80 km of Kayes. Of a surface of 3.050 km ², it includes 46 villages and 50 hamlets. Its population is approximately 23.000 inhabitants.

The mine of Gold of Sadiola, exploited since 1996 by the development company of the Gold mine of Sadiola (SEMOS-SA), carries important resources with the commune but involves big problems environmental because of the use of Cyanure.
