Sabrosa
Sabrosa is a municipality (in Portuguese: concelho or município ) of the Portugal, located in the District of Bragance and the Northern area.
Geography
Sabrosa is bordering:- in north, of Villa Pouca de Aguiar,
- in the east, of Alijó,
- in south-east, of São João da Pesqueira,
- in the south, of Tabuaço and Armamar,
- in the west, of Peso da Régua and Villa Real.
History
The municipality was created in 1836, by dismemberment partial of the municipality of Vila Real.

The city
The town of Sabrosa itself extends on 868 ha and account 1330 inhabitants. It is known to be the birthplace of Fernand of Magellan (Fernão de Magalhães) where there remains his house of childhood.
